Re: Never touched a PC/RT, but spent a lot of time with AIX

Splendid story!

It is dismally believable.

A friend in the Czech court system told me of a splendid legal oversight a few years ago.

The Constitutional Court is in Brno, 3h by train from Prague and the government. Couriering documents took time and money. So, they amended the law: it was permissible to email them from Prague to Brno.

Sadly, this amendment did not consider that the documents were legally actionable and copies had to be securely destroyed after use.

So, after they were emailed, the law required them to be printed out and securely couriered to Prague... to be shredded.
